Fake News — CNN’s Marc Lamont Hill: Conservatives Start Violent Campus Riots, Too
Hill could not name one instance of one right wing riot on any campus anywhere, yet CNN continues to sponsor his lies and anti-Trump screeds.
Quote:CNN’s Marc Lamont Hill, who is also a professor at Morehouse College, claimed that right-wing students incite riots on college campuses while discussing the Berkeley riots left-wing students over the appearance of Breitbart News’ MILO.
Speaking after the UC Berkeley riots, CNN commentator Ben Ferguson argued that campus leftists need to learn how to respond to speech with less destructive means.
“Liberals need to grow up on college campuses because people are actually getting hurt now,” Ferguson said the day after the riots.
In response, Hill suggested that right-wing students engage in similar destructive behavior on college campuses, but when pressed failed to back up his claim with examples.
“I think it’s also a bit inaccurate to say that this is a problem purely on the left. I think we have intolerance on the left and on the right,” said Hill.
“I traveled to college speaking circuits all the time in school, and the right boycotts, they write letters not to let me in,” he added. Despite this claim, there are no reports that any of his speaking engagements have actually been canceled due to protest.
When challenged whether his critics engage in the type of violence seen at Berkeley, Hill deflected by citing incidents that have occurred away from the campus. “They don’t always go to the college campus. They sometimes blow up abortion clinics; sometimes they burn down mosques; they sometimes shoot up churches,” he said.
“That’s not what we’re talking about, now you’re stretching,” Ferguson countered.

I was cracking up whenever Trump said he was replacing fake news (Acosta thanked him) with very fake news, and then started asking around the room if he should give Acosta another question.

The very real thing that happened with this news conference is this....President Donald Trump is talking to the American public and to the World over the Press. The World saw a very honest Donald Trump today.

I said it months ago. If CNN keeps up with their games and ax to grind they will have less access to executive branch news than The Onion and will be about as truthful.

I very much don't care what the Press has to say about this news conference. I would love to hear what the other leaders of the world have to say. Pundits are pundits. I want to hear what the other leaders of the world have to say.

The press has never had to be held accountable or their motives called into question publicly like this before. They are on the defensive more than the President is. The first 15 minutes of the CBS Evening News with Scott Pelley was about Trump's presser today. They even had to cover the results of the electoral college vote AGAIN to show up Trump for claiming a big victory. You telling me there isn't any other real news going on in the world?
CNN wants to talk about the dysfunction of Trump's administration or that it's chaos in the oval office. They had to change the narrative because the President was kicking butt getting stuff done in his first four weeks that made Obama look like the Walking Dead President. Trump pushed back and called them on it and they can't stand it. They can't handle the fact that the POTUS is not the typical bureaucrat lifer that they can predict and control. Sorry folks, but this ain't the Barry Geriatrics Show anymore.

It's not even that though they should. President Trump is giving other leaders in the world a backbone. These Press bullies are pitiful. President Trump has empowered other leaders of the world today. I hope and think it's true! Only the elected officials need to make law. They are the only ones responsible to the voters. The Press is just trying to get in between. The Press is to often running interference.

Exactly and they have no clue how to deal with it. He stole their playbook, ripped all the pages out, poured gasoline on it and struck a match. And the people who voted for him (especially the blue collars) are loving every minute of it.
