And I don't care what anyone else thinks. He's right. Most people who voted for Trump are not racist or homophobic or xenophobic or misogynistic or just downright hateful. They did so because they felt they were being screwed by stagnant wages, higher taxes, a healhcare law that was rushed through in the middle of the night without any politician reading it until AFTER it became law, and last but not least lackadaisical efforts by the previous administration to secure our border and enforce immigration laws to help prevent crimes like the murder of Kate Steinle in the streets of San Francisco by an illegal alien who was "deported" five times for committing crimes in this country and was still able to come back because we have a horrifically porous border with Mexico!

Believe it or not, most if not all of us conservatives, libertarians, and center-right independents are not racists or homophobes or xenophobes or bigots or sexists or any of that. Most if not all of us actually love people because we were brought up that way: To love people. I know I certainly was. Do you really believe we care about people's skin color? Do you really believe we care about a person's gender or sexuality? I don't! I care whether or not they can contribute to our society. I care whether or not the laws of this country are being followed. So why do you still insist on insulting us just because we disagree with you? ENGAGE US IN ACTUAL DEBATE! DO NOT RESORT TO NAMECALLING!

The Democratic Party is lost in the wilderness. Maybe someday, it will find its way back to some common sense principles and actual discussion of issues. Until then, enjoy wandering and playing your identity political games. Enjoy throwing your insults at us and having them fall by the wayside, because guess what? They don't work anymore!
