Clemson takes a two game series vs Yale. 10-6 yesterday, 10-8 today. 14-3 on the season with UVA coming to town this weekend.

Louisville is #1 in 4 of the 6 baseball polls this week -- BA, ESPN/USA, NCBWA, and PG. They are 2 in CB and 4 in D1. Their Massey is #1 -- Sagarin #5 -- RPI 29. Haven't played really tough teams yet but most are average type teams. Today's game we were behind for a short period -- finally passed them in 5th inning. Then the 7th inning we busted it open scoring 7 runs, with one more in the 8th to win 13-4 with 11 hits. We finally have some pretty good offense this year and they always seem to get rolling at some point. I love that they frequently get on a roll with 2 outs -- showing they are never done until it's totally over.

Carolina 9-2 over Maryland. The Heels head to Atlanta to take on Ga. Tech for a weekend series.

This ties a school record for best start, with the 1952 team (I think it is 52. It is back then sometime).
