Good weekend games - great to already get a win over a ranked team. McKay having an awesome start playing 2-way again -- 2 homers and the 3rd team insisted on walking him every time he came up.

I am wondering if this is Mik Aoki's last season at ND.

He has had decent (for ND-usually around #38 by Perfect Game) recruiting classes but it appears that this team is absolutely abysmal.

GT up 7-1 mid game in Statesboro. GT hasn't trailed yet all season. Starting pitching has given up 1 run in 18 innings of work.

Heels continue a strong start with an 11-1 trouncing of Gardner-Webb.

VT holds off a Nevada rally to win 8-7. Game 2 coming in about an hour.

Cards made 3 errors today. And McKay didn't seem to be on his best today, but Cards did enough to win.

That doesn't appear to be changing yet, they're all over YSU in the 1st inning again, up 3-0 and still batting.

Louisville pitches a collective one hitter and beats Omaha 10-0. Cards improve to 6-0 on the season.

Heels beat Radford today 9-3 to go 6-0 on the season.

Poor YSU. Down 8-0 after the 1st in Game 1. Down 5-0 after the 1st in Game 2. And I turn the game on and I see bases loaded for GT in the 1st.

Well, this is probably the end of the undefeated season. Left bases loaded in the first, and then Danny Hall did some vintage Danny Hall "leave the pitcher out there 3 batters too long" game management. YSU already with 11 runs ... about half of them walked onto base or hit by pitch. About 4 GT pitchers already today all of which have had at least one walk and one hit batter.

Cards throw another shutout, win 6-0. Louisville outscored Omaha 23-2 on the weekend and is 7-0 on the year.
