Did anyone else hear the announcer say Joey Rodriquez is an assistant coach at Rice? Maybe this is old news. At any rate it's twice as nice beating a FECES U player again and again and again.......
I will never forget him taunting our team in the CAA final at the Richmond Coliseum when vcu was up a pile of points with about 10 minutes left and in the end setting on the circle at midcourt crying after losing to us.
Didn't he toss his shoe into the crowd during a CAA tourney game?
That I don't recall but it is definitely possible.
he did not - I believe that was JJ Barea of Northeastern. (went on the play in the NBA)

Definitely doesn't look like he did last year. Way too many TOs. Sophomore Slump?
Evans is a decently player, but the singular focus on points per game gives him notoriety. He doesn't rebound, doesn't play defense, and turns the ball over a lot. Still a fine player, but not as good as most people seem to think.
And as someone said, it is probably because he has a gunners mentality without the size.

Did y'all notice the two ODU fans sitting behind the ODU bench! With such a small crowd those two guys may have represented a large percentage of the attendance.

Posted from mobile device. Hopefully it's coherent.

The biggest take away I get from that is the stands - doesn't seem like very many people were there and the game was close. Why are we rewarding this city and their fan support with the conference tournament again?
Seeing that TV view of the La Tech - UAB brawl reminded me of something I meant to ask and forgot. I did not see nor listen to the UNCC game when Baker got into something, a fight, and was suspended. Could someone who saw/heard it enlighten me (and maybe others) on what happened?
Loose ball around midcourt. Caver (I think) and Charlotte player (maybe 2) on the ground going after it. They end up in a pile. Ball called dead (can't remember if jump ball, foul or walk). Other players from both teams trying to help their teammates up. Charlotte player gives Baker a little shove, Baker shoves back harder, Charlotte player swings at Baker but he's too quick for that ****. Everybody's restrained pretty quickly. Coaches from both teams did a good job keeping players on the bench. One of our assistants (maybe Stith) came onto the floor and should probably have been ejected but wasn't. Baker and 2 Charlotte players ejected.
That's how I remember it.
Thanks
