What's wrong with "Alternate Facts?"

The former CIA analyst's description of Trump may or may not be correct, but I question the source. The few people I have known in the CIA wouldn't even tell you their job or what they did for the CIA, much less offer an opinion on politics. An interview about their impressions of the president? Never. It's just not in their DNA.

The American people were sold on the idea that Saddam was violating the terms of the cease-fire agreement, which was no lie.

The NBC weapons argument was used to try to get the UN on board. Remember, Colin Powell's presentation was made to the UN, not to congress.

I don't recall any statement to anyone, anywhere, at any time, where it was suggested or implied that Saddam had the ability to attack us with NBC weapons. Do you have a link to such a statement?
