Football Questions
Hello all. I'm new to this message board. I'm a '79 grad and big Flash fan. I've rarely missed a home football game over the past 35 years (that's a lot of losses as we all know) and attend 3 or 4 basketball games a year.

I live out of town (Canton) and don't subscribe to the Record Courier so I don't get a lot of the weekly news. The off-season football news seems to be especially sparse. I just found this message board a couple months ago and have enjoyed the posts.

Could anyone give me updates on the status of some of our returning football players?

1) Justin Agner

2) Mylik Mitchell

3) Nick Holley

Also, I'd like to read anyone thoughts on the defensive line / linebackers who might be starting next season.

Thank you & Go Flashes!

Glad to see you on the board, welcome and thanks for getting to the games. As a fan since 1968 -(I actually used to go to JV games when they had a JV team) - so I've probably seen a few more losses than you - but heck who's counting. You are correct about the lack of off season news. I try to follow the Hustle Belt website - they at least have a recruiting page that is pretty up to date. I personally hope we have some competition for QB next year - as has been shown in the past it is pretty hard for us to get through a season with the same guy. The recruit - Crum I believe- was a really good HS player. I personally would like to see Holly play/share the running back position next year - and I would hope Bollas is still in the mix. Just my two cents

RE: Football Questions
Does anyone know how much we are getting paid for the Clemson game? I found that Louisville is paying $1 million so it would be nice to see another $1 million+ game on the schedule. If we are going to take a whooping I do like to know there was a big pay check for it.

RE: Football Questions
I'm wondering:

Is Monday okay?
Is White okay?
Is Agner okay?
Is Dixon coming back?
Is Iowa going to poach Stone from us?

I really want to see Monday, Hines, McRae, and Stone in the defensive backfield this year.

Football Questions
Hey guys, I don't want to put false information out but I was told that Agner transferred, the DB position coach went to Toledo. As for Monday he's getting healthy as well as Malik. We lost some Key position on the D-line but I think we should be Ok or as well as they can be considering the OC and DC have not changed.
I'll do some digging to see what we can expect with the returning players.
Take care

Glad he landed on his feet. DH is a very humble and respected man/football coach.
