I think UNC and VT will lose its starting QBs. We will have a new QB as well . We will have to wait and see the development through the offseason. We will have our third FBS class in and we should look more like we can at least intimate a program like VT or UNC. I just dont know how to answer this one at this point in time. Should this thread be a sticky? Think about once we find our 3 year QB and have our Offense, Defense and Special Teams. I believe we can play P5 teams more competitively. Remember the Pitt game? The first NC State meet? The Vanderbilt game? I think we can do it. Good coaching goes a long way though...

NC loses a QB who many believe is a first round draft pick. No experienced QB's on the 2017 roster. They also lose a few other key pieces on offense. Their defense can be vulnerable. By the third game (I think our game with them will be both our third games), it'll interesting to see how things are with them. I know we are breaking in a new QB also. While I think the chance of a victory against NC remains slight, I believe the potential is there for ODU to be competitive with them in Norfolk.
