note it says "kick out" in the CA. I'm thinking it was meant to read "kick off", but I'm quoting as written.

do editors read this stuff anymore?

This needs to get built . Without it we have little chance of retaining this staff after next year.

IMO... the IPF will not help keep the current staff. If and when they are ready to go to the right fit P5 school and conference they will be gone period.

Don't get me wrong I hope I'm wrong on the above statement!!

We shouldn't get too caught up with coaches moving on. It's actually a much better situation than we were in. Prior to Fuente, I believe we had not had a coach hired by another school since Pancoast in the mid 70s. All of them were fired or left un-ceremoniously. Our situation is much improved considering we had another good young coach jump in. If we become known as a spring board to bigger jobs we will have more of a talent pool to choose from when the time comes. Not great, but much better than where we were

The IPF won't keep Norvell here.

I've said it from day one, I think Norvell is a stud. I could easily see him having a good year and being one of the "hot names"...

Newspaper staffs have been cut so bad in the last ten years that maybe one set of eyes check stories now. They used to have actual proof readers years ago. Newspapers are shells of their former selves.

You must be very confused if you think I'm worried about losing a coach. I said when Fuente was hired that best case scenario was him getting hired away by a better program. That sure beats the alternative.

Losing over $15M a year in BB revenue will kill projects like this. That totally caught Admin off guard. The only reason I saw it coming is because I'm a Tiger BB fan, a financial background and plenty of free time to out 2 and 2 together.

You are an idiot like always. This project is funded and will get voted on next month's independent board meeting and will start construction the following month.

The board of trustees just approved Rudd to "explore alternate financing options" for the IPF.

A little birdie told me that Coach N has 7 or 8 "dream jobs" and that olemiss is on that short list. Don't shoot the messenger.
