Supposedly the FBI was not allowed by thr DNC to look at the compromised servers. Additionally the first report made reference to Ukrainian mal ware which anyone on the Internet could buy. So there is no fingerprint pointing to Russia. Rather it is mere speculation that Russia did it. The only people who actually know, wikileaks, say it was a leak and not a hack.
