And that should make every team in the conference a little weary. Look at what GaSo's TO did in the conference. CSU's Option was better, in my opinion.

We handled their Option last year well. We beat them last year 44-16

You handled an FCS team well as you should have.

Isn't that right stAte. 03-drunk

If Chadwell performs well, he'll be getting calls from P5 HC to become their new OC. He may not be a HC again for a while but getting paid handsomely

Ga Tech perhaps. But I don't know of other P5s that run his offense.

I'm well aware of the politics. He wasn't the only player, but will the one the public will pin it on.

He is the OC, not the HC. We get all of his pros with none of his cons. Just be ready to start calling us "Daddy", from here on out. 03-nutkick

Nice spin there, and with an old HC dont try and convince me HC down the road was not in the deal. Basically CCU fans have ran this guys name in the dirt at every turn mainly for owning them now he will become magically a better person for being at CCU where they never have NCAA issues.....oh wait yes you do.

We just got a pretty decent OC ourselves. Better come out swinging next year likely out last down year for a while. 07-coffee3

Yes, associate head coach. To paraphrase Moglia - 'it's a title, that's it. I don't believe in HCIW titles'.

I wouldn't have selected him but don't have a problem with it. Some schools, including yours, had enough concerns with him that they wouldn't give him the HC job and hired others with less proven results. He had to step down to OC to get out of CSU somewhat gracefully. As senoreida said - we get all of the benfits of him as an OC and non of the issues of him as a HC - he's immediately distanced from that. So a fresh start - should be interesting to see how he handles our offense - I bet he improves it a good but and that's saying something as we've had a pretty good offense with the former OC.

Yes not taking him really worked out for us.... not all decisions made mean they were the right one. Which schools hired less proven results coaches the Air Force coord that was a Furman grad that Furman hired or the the guy that went 40-8? He is also going to a FBS team now not a FCS one.

Keep spinning bro it all good. Just know you are just like the AL fans that trashed Saban at LSU then are building statue of him now. He is the same guy and will be the same guy two years from now. Just like Saban is the same guy he was at LSU. You trashed him up and down and your own coach disputed just about everything you trashed him about. So who is right you or your Coach? Because it is not the same guy. I just listened to the interview and like your new associate HC that will be in charge if anything happens to your coach said dont believe everything you read or rumor you hear. Also dont get so butt hurt that you believe every bad thing uttered about a program or coach. You have a good chance to beat us next year and I promise I will not bring back up the type of coach CCU hires in your words.

Yes I have no doubt since his offenses owned CCU for the most part he will make you better especially if he brings most of his staff. Like I told you from the beginning you are getting a good coach glad you will agree now that he will be helping you win instead of kicking your butt.

Hey brother, ease up a little. I don't think he meant in any way to disparage your program for passing on him. Most of us are aware we have some level of preconceived unfavorable notions of Chadwell, and regardless of where the "who's to blame" tween him and CSU admin falls, we figure he owns some of it. I think Rok pointing out that he went 0-3 in HC looks the last year and a half, and "settled" for an OC gig acknowledges that others (maybe including your program too, who knows) agree he had some image things to work out.

We may have disparaged him for actions AND beating our butts, but we're also aware of the talent he possesses and the environment Moglia will have him under wraps in. Hopefully a fresh start and valuable mentoring will leave both Chadwell and CCU in better places down the road. Personally I think he jumps to bigger things after a couple years success, rather than stick around Conway. We will see. But there's nothing wrong with giving a guy a second chance, if you believe he's in the right environment. Coaching, like playing, is a business. Makes no sense to hold forever grudges, or call out people for moving past them.

Nicely said. I've tried to state similar things but haven't been as eloquent.
