Believe it or not, I kind of agree with Chucky...

I know it's VERY early in the decision making BUT.....

To bring in a new coach, who will no doubt want his own staff (ie WVU and RR) and going into a new conference with a new "O" and "D" along with a new scheme, may be okay long-term, but short-term, would you guys be prepared for a possibly a couple of "down years" to go along with last year? Adding that MU might lose a few players by transfering...

I think hiring within may not be a bad idea...Keep the ball rolling with a scheme that won't be changed....Give it 2-3 years and if no progress is made or if it gets worse, then consider a nationwide search?

It's a tough situation and I'm sure Marcum will do what's best. I'm just curious how the fans feel about it...

I don't wanna wait.........

Mark Snyder (DEF CO-ORD Ohio State) has already contacted the university about the job. He should be the leading canidate for the job. Even if we have to kick in a few extra bucks.

Along with Mickey Matthews, Tony Peterson, KC Keeler (Delaware HC) and Jim Grobe

Another wishlist canidate would include Gregg Brandon at Bowling Green, but with OJ up there he's going to stay put and keep his stock rising as a coach and go somewhere next year probably low or middle BCS first.

That is about a given , the part about Skip Holtz failing there , on the other hand since he wont be coaching against the powers of the SEC there is a remote chance he might be able to win a game or two...

Remember HERD ZONED , this is Skip not Lou, Lou retired and went back to Disney World with Mrs Lou ...
