Good. Her time is better spent being a blogger and public intellectual than being in that sausage grinder of envirocultists who want to use climate change to remake society into their image.

BTW, I love this comment about this on climate depot.

Quote:I taught environmental science and engineering for 37 years before retiring in 2007. During my career, environmental engineering went from being a hard science discipline to the current highly politicized Lysenkoist swamp it is now. It is impossible to distinguish environmental fact from fiction anymore. No government agency can be relied on to produce evidence-based reports or even maintain publically accessible, reasonably accurate data banks. Even once professional societies like the American Society of Civil Engineers (founded 1852, I'm a Life Member) publish little more than politically correct nonsense and enthuse about obvious frauds like solar and wind power. I pity my former colleagues who still have years to go to qualify for retirement. If I still had students, I would advise them to find another field.

"lysenkoist swamp". 03-lmfao

That is a great description. 04-cheers

It becomes a process of self-selection. Only the true believers continue in the field, resulting in an academic echo chamber.
