CH 13 (NBC) has gone blank on DirecTV
They blame it on the station's owners. I have been "out of the loop" for the last week so I was taken by surprise. Does anyone know what has happened to lead to this situation?
That also means that unless you have an alternative access (Charter, Dish, Brighthouse, antenna, etc.), you won't get to see the Packers play the Lions tonight.
Same thing applies to Sat night NFC wild card game (Detroit vs Seattle) unless things change.

broadcast TV channels can force cable and satellite companies to pay for the right to carry their channel. channel 13 is asking more than directv wants to pay. simple as that. as to who's to blame, depends on your point of view. technically they both are.

Nice how they both let it get to this so they can point fingers at each other.
I personally haven't missed 13 being off the air.

Did someone decide that missing out on TWO NFL games was too far to go? Whatever, CH13 is back on DirecTV this morning.
