A slightly different approach to bracketology at

http://www.teamrankings.com/ncaa-tournam...cketology/

shows six ACC teams as locks for the NCAAT, and three others making the cut. Teamrankings assigns a probability of making the tourney field to all D-I schools. Currently, they project Syracuse as getting an 8 seed, with a 48% chance of staying on the right side of the bubble; Va Tech a 10 seed (46%) and Miami an 11 seed (36%).

On the wrong side of the bubble are Wake (29%), Clemson (12%), Pitt (7%), Ga Tech (5%) and BC and NC State at 0%.

Seems like as reasonable a guess as any I've seen.

RE: NCAAB: ACC - Conference Play - Updated through 2/18 Games
some teams have clinched a bye haven't they? if i have my tiebreaks correct i think the top 3 as of now (2/18) have clinched a first round bye (max of 4 tournament games). on the next update would it be possible to reflect this in the standings?

Valiant effort, but now it looks like we are NIT bound. Still a great season for the future President of the United State, Josh Pastner.

Louisville is at 35 ...

... and is still looking for it's first ACC tourney win, having lost in it's first shot in 2015 to 5 seed UNC, and banning itself in last year's tourney.

It's a weird thing to think the Cards are looking for it's first conference tourney win, since the two years prior to joining the ACC, Louisville won its conference tourney (2014 -- winning the American, over UConn in the finals (And UConn did us a huge favor by defeating Kentucky in the national finals that year), and 2013, beating Villanova, Notre Dame and Syracuse, to win the Big East on the way to the cutting down the nets for the national title).

Here's hoping the Cards can grab their first conference tourney win this year.

Is Pastner going to president of California when (hopefully, dreaming I know) Calexit happens?

I think a Texit would be more likely than a Calexit.
