The distances I used are from Google Maps for the quickest route, which may not be the shortest distance. I did both ways from arena to arena separately, so the distance from UNC Wilmington to Drexel and the distance from Drexel to UNC Wilmington (or for any other pair of teams) will be close but do not have to be the same. I took the total travel distance of the 18 trips each team would make if they went to and from each opponent separately, ignoring having consecutive away games without coming home, which varies from team to team and from season to season. Here are the average round-trip for one opponent travel distances from shortest to longest:

1. Towson: 282.1 miles
2. Delaware: 286.4 miles
3. Drexel: 305.2 miles
4. William & Mary: 320.1 miles
5. James Madison: 321.3 miles
6. Elon: 377.6 miles
7. Hofstra: 387.6 miles
8. UNC Wilmington: 426.7 miles
9. Northeastern: 548.4 miles
10. College of Charleston: 564.9 miles

I thought Northeastern would have the longest average travel distance, but they don't, although they have the longest average travel distance if you include the CAA Tournament. The longest average distance is very close to double the shortest average distance. The CAA average is 382.0 miles.

Boston to Charleston round robin is rough, especially when youre the school in Boston or Charleston

At least Charleston gets to host the CAA Tournament. That kind of makes up for being the most southern outpost in a league with 5 northern/northeastern schools.

The bottom 3 are no surprise to me as it's the Northern most school and the two southern most schools.

Although we have more travel distance than we had in the SoCon we have less travel time as the Cougars fly a lot more now..
