You for starters...
But seriously, we have trolls that take pride in being trolls such as Bearcats#1.
I am not a troll. Seriously. I just enjoy a few jokes.

Agree. It's hard to read that board with all the trolls over there. They need a new mod or 2 that is tough yet fair.

I think I'm going to decline the requests. I think trying to clean up the AAC board is going to be next to impossible. It's like a number of the posters over there were infested with a type of troll virus. I think any new mod over there would have to issue a lot of bannings and then the board would become a ghost town. It may be best to set that board up to be a quasi leper colony, where you can leave them to their own devices but quarantine them from the remaining healthy boards. IDK, just spitballing with this idea.
That may not be a bad idea. If we can get the rest of us healthy posters here to come up with ideas to help the AAC board with their issues, then perhaps we can make the forum better for all of us.
Thoughts?
The AAC board is infected with a virus - the P6 virus. Symptoms include hysteria, delusion and a thirst for the blood of members from the MWC, MAC, C-USA, Sun Belt.
If posters wish to avoid contracting the P6 virus, they must avoid contact with the infected at all costs.
Naw, the fact that fans of the AAC talk about the p6 ,their own p6 goals and aspirations while comparing themselves to the p5 statistically is no more of a problem than the NBE doing the exact same thing on their board. The trolling problem is fans coming over to a board that's not theirs feeling as though it's their business to inject their opinions or points of view as if their feelings are hurt. I read a lot of other boards yet no matter how crazy it seems to me, I don't inject my unwanted opinion or troll them, and yes I am referring to holylandofhoops. Yet, as I said I've never nor will I ever troll there no matter how delusional or hysterical I may think some of their fans are

There are no trolls on the AAC boards. They were hacked by the Russians.

RE: A number of posters from the AAC boards...
Actually just keep them all confined on that delusional board space to abuse each other.
I have tried to follow along in there and it is insanity defined.... I have to admit it is kind of amusing to follow along considering they spend hours and hours and miles of bandwidth arguing and debating something that doesn't exist (the P6 and their inclusion in it).
As a Umass guy I would love to have our football team playing in their conference (lets be honest, at this point any conference), but I am not sure I could take the "P6 banter" every day over there.
I saw the same thing on the A-10 Hoops board when the Big East was breaking up. The wars between Dayton and Xavier fans over who was most qualified to join the Hoops BE was high comedy for sure.

Wow that's great because UMASS has absolutely zero chance of ever being in the AAC as that would be truly insane. Heck that would be an insane proposition for any conference lol

Oooh Ouch - you got me there Champ....
I am not pretending to be any more than an FBS startup and we have the appropriate conference affiliation to go with it.
Nice showing in the Boca Bowl...... Way to boost the conference profile.

Yep, we got whipped like a government mule lol. Yet here we are in a conference you'd love to be in after our 3rd straight bowl, with a top 30ish recruiting class. Alas little buddy I not going to insult your program. I have respect for any team striving to improve their lot even if it may seem "insane" that's the way you put AAC fans right. Goodluck for at least trying. Go UMass.

I didn't start the insult train chief.....
They are trying, imo it is a pitiful effort by the administration but at least they are trying.
UMass took on way too much schedule for the roster last year. Next year it is soft which will hopefully bring 6 or 7 wins at least, and get some momentum. Molnar was a dumpster fire and set us back 4 years in development. Next season will be the first one in a decade that umass will field a solid roster.
Good luck Memphis....

Sorry forgot to add the question to the rest of the group. Should I accept a mod position for the AAC board, or just be content with being asked? I don't know much about what goes on over on their side of the tracks, but at the same time I have little tolerance for trolling.

Thanks, but not sure if that's ultimately for the best. PM's keep pouring in asking that I become a mod for the board. It's just that the posters on that board may not appreciate the fundamental transformation I would make. I'm not sure the folks over there are prepared for a new morning in America.

As an FYI to the group. I was asked to be a mod for the AAC board, but I declined the offer. I was flattered that so many people thought this highly of me. Thanks again guys for the honor.
