Crazy, all around. San Diego is still a long ways from Seattle. I'm a fan of Zac's, but I'm surprised they would pick the sports performance guy as interim AD.

interim is the key word. Article says he has no chance of being the permanent choice.
They could hire another AD within 2 weeks if they wanted to.

Even if he is not a candidate for the perm position. It shows that the administration thinks a lot of him and he is well respected. Good for him. Hopefully he'll get some supplemental pay for a few months.

Move from Hattiesburg to San Diego? I'd be gone so fast that you'd hear "POP" as the air rushes in to fill the vacuum where I had been standing.

Zac is A-OK in my book. Heck of a guy.
He was the one on 12-2-2014 that alerted all of us in the maddening crowd in front of the Football building that Watts was sneaking out the side door. I will always remember that. The rest is history.

Kinda cool that a buddy of mine is taking over as the interim S&C coach as well. I'd love to have SaJason on our staff. He's a great guy and a good coach. I think he's worked on Auburn's staff previously as well.
