Yesterday here peaked at 75'F but by midnight was 25'...we can get a full season's worth of temps in day due to flatness (neighboring city Plano means flat in Spanish) so bring layers, or at least liquid body heat.

You can go inside and warm up in the River Club during the game IFF you have the NCAA Experience Hospitality Wristband. Purchase two wristbands for access in my ebay auction here: FCS Championship Hospitality Wristbands (2) A portion of the proceeds to the American Cancer Society.

Unless we get to single digits, my plan is still no jacket for maximum showing of purple.

Interesting, thanks. I pulled the data from the graph about halfway down on this Weather.com page when you hover over Jan. It's also listed on the right side in the Almanac section. Not sure why Weather.com shows different data than Intellicast:

Just need to plan for worst case being in the mid-30's and best case mid-50's. Wear layers that can be removed if need be. I don't want rain at those temps, makes the cold so much worse and no fun for the players.

RE: Frisco Weather Thread
Right now accuweather extended forecast has 60 & a chance of rain on Friday and 42 and cloudy on Saturday. Basically the warm weather has slowly been moving up and a cold front looks to be behind it. Lowest temp for the week leading up to Friday is 50 or something. We need whatever weather system is in their models to slow down just a bit.

Since the game is still two weeks out I am sure the forecast will change at least a dozen times between now and then. Keep an eye on it and prepare for all possibilities!!

49 and sunny for 1/7, would be atmospheric perfection for a National Championship game.

Not to rain on the parade...

But the forecast won't start to be accurate from any source until 5-7 days out. Run to run variance in the models that are used to make forecasts is large outside of 7 days. Other than here, the forum I spend the most time on is a meteorology one. We'll have a good idea of what to expect as we nurse our hangovers after the new year.

Wouldn't the worst and best cases be the avg daily high plus/minus about 20 degreees? If so that would be worst case low 30s, best case low 70s, by the middle of the game..
