Either no one is bothering to ask them what their capacity is, or even they have no clue what it is.

My question on the 18k (if accurate) number is whether this is a change from the number of tickets originally for sale.

If so, when/where are they going to sell the additional 1500 tickets? Are these the SRO tix?

If 18k is what they already offered for sale, then it will be a nearly full stadium. If these are last minute available, not sure how many can be sold. My gut feel is most folks that are going have purchased tickets at this point. The other travel logistics are harder to arrange last minute.

Before this I've only seen 16.5k (article with 20.5k- 4k). A few posters have stated 15k without a link. The most recent and credible sounds to be the communications manager for the Frisco Convention and Visitors Bureau claim of 18k.

I have also seen several notes that the seating is about 16.5. As JMURocks noted above I wonder if the figure of 18 includes the standing room tickets they seem to be selling?

In any case it looks like it will be a Purple Invasion on January 7. Can not wait!!

Anyone have plans that I can crash in on tomorrow during the day? Get into Dallas at noon and need something to do until about 5ish.
