3rd team? Hell I don't think he missed but one inside of 50, I don't know his competition, but they must have been some hell of kickers to beat him out. Best season I have seen of a kicker in a long time. Congrats on a great year!!

I know you were being complimentary and not a douche, but I just wanted to point out that he didn't miss any inside of 50, missed a 54 yarder vs. Ole Miss, but also made a 53 yarder, can't remember which game. 19/20 on the year.

Yeah, conference biases are the only reason he wasn't first team AA. Congrats to Koo and Southern.

Missed one FG from 54 at the half against Ole Miss. Had the distance - just a foot or so right. Made every other FG and PAT. Led the team with 85 points scored. Was 19/20 on FG including a long of 53. Great season by a quality young man.

Very cool. Who was the last Sun Belt player to be named an All American?

Two players were freshman All-America this season.

Apparently competition matters in this. P5 kickers have it much harder than G5 kickers so they had to adjust in deciding who gets 1st and 2nd team.

Well deserved but I agree he could easily have been higher based on performance. Hope to see him at the next level...soon.

And the Panthers somehow win in Atlanta. Yeah, I know the Falcons were 0-4, but that means nothing when Carolina travels down I-85.

Before Koo had that injury that knocked him out in Week 4 and before Brandon Wright got waived by Jacksonville a few weeks back, I believe the SBC schools in Georgia had 3 starting kickers in the NFL at one point. Koo, Lutz, and Wright? That's pretty impressive.

Tyler Bass for the Bills as well.
