Pruitt may be the most controversial pick of the four.

Pruitt, 48, has been a reliable booster of the fossil fuel industry and a critic of what he derides as the EPA's "activist agenda."

Representing his state as attorney general since 2011, Pruitt has repeatedly sued the EPA to roll back environmental regulations and other health protections. He joined with other Republican attorneys general in opposing the Clean Power Plan, which seeks to limit planet-warming carbon emissions from coal-fired power plants. Pruitt has argued that curbing carbon emissions would trample the sovereignty of state governments, drive up electricity rates, threaten the reliability of the nation's power grid and "create economic havoc."

If the only thing he does is end the EPA practice of making law by "sue and settle" with radical environmental groups he'll be an outstanding leader.

Have to admit, these cabinet and agency choices are pretty damned good!

I understand not liking the waste of the EPA, but you guys just hired a dire wolf to watch the hen house. This is too far, and this lack of moderation is going to hurt the living conditions of millions of Americans.

These business types don't care about common working class people. They barely care about the middle class (60k-200k category).

The EPA made a critical mistake. That's bad - and it's evidence that there should be a change at the top of that organization.

Who at the EPA lost their job or was demoted because of this event?

If this was a local casting mill, the fines, sanctions, and public publicity outcry would have been massive.

Time for those that serve all Americans to be held accountable to the same standards as those they serve. Clinton, Koskinen, Podesta, Lerner, McCarthy, DoD losing $125 BILLION, Gruber, GSA execs, and the list goes on.
