So ASUs loss to TCU on the road last Saturday night only dropped them one spot.

Idiots at College Insider don't consider CUSA as Mid Major. They had it that way when Memphis was in the league, and never switched it back because they were lazy.

Mid Major rankings are so subjective. Somehow Gonzaga is a mid major but UTSA is not.

There's no exact science to classifying teams, they just sort of do it at random.

Again, Mid Major polls fail me because the qualifications are ridiculous. Western Kentucky is not mid major, but Gonzaga is...such things make no sense.

I prefer RPI.

yes, what are they going by. some of the perennial top finishers are schools like gonzaga and wichita state and valpo. cant be school size because many majors arent large, so must be budget or coaches salary that determines major/mid major.

THey're living in the past. CUSA at one time was not considered a mid major because they got multiple bids. But that ended quite some time ago. They just never adjusted the poll to reflect it.

Aside from Middle Tennessee State, who else would be in there? Rice with their cupcake schedule? Charlotte with a 5-3 record v DI? Maybe Marshall at 6-3.
