RE: If your Team is playing in a bowl game
The city of New Orleans did not embrace the Nola bowl like the do now until our second year, I visit New Orleans all the time and you didn't see advertisements, until after our first year. Our second year the workers at the bars/restaraunts/hotels were so excited to have us back because of the money they made off our fans the previous year. Even against Tulane the majority of the city pulled for us. We bring fans and nobody in our league knows how to do New Orleans like we do. We drink, party and eat more than anyone.

Since we're getting screwed this year, I'd expect a movement start to at least provide some protection to the champion in the future.

Again, we almost ended up in Tuscon. That's incredible to even think about.

Almost. However, I wonder if King Karl really did y'all a favor and put his foot down and helped out USA/ArkSt and Idaho as best he could.

Right, but we still won a Championship. I'm not complaining about New Orleans, I'm complaining because bowl committee's still wanted to rank a 6-6 needing a waiver to get bowl eligible, South Alabama team over us.

I understand you guys and New Orleans...but there is no scenario that should have ever put us in Arizona.

Meh, I think ESPN and CBSSN were probably the groups that really saved us.

If memory serves, the Superdome ran out of beer our first year.

Cajuns have been drinking heavy long before y'all came around. It's year round, not just during football. We make plans based around it.

Big myth, he should actually eat like a pig the whole week before...gotta stretch your stomach out so you can eat more. That's why fat people get fatter.
