Thanks! Looks like the Toledo/App matchup couldn't be closer as far as Massey goes.

UCF is not hot garbage... they were last season at 0-12, now they play the best or 2nd best D of any SBC Bowl opponents... Ohio being the other good defense.

As of this morning, I like:

App St over Toledo (MAC way overrated)
Air Force over USA (USA won't be able to stop the flex option)
Colorado St over Idaho (CSU just outmans Idaho)
UCF over Ark St (UCF playing at home)
Troy over Ohio (MAC way overrated)
USM over ULL (USM's QB Mullens will have a field day against ULL)

Sun Belt 2-4 for the bowl season.

Winners:

Air Force
Toledo
Troy
stAte
Colorado St.
Southern Miss

2-4.

I picked stAte but I am not confident. That is a homer and hopeful pick as much as anything. I do think stAte has the ability to win and if they show up like they did in Troy, they could win convincingy, but it is a home game for UCF.

Troy can beat Ohio and should have a home crowd atmosphere
I think UL's last 3 wins said more about the opponent then UL. stAte's bad play contributed as much as UL's good play. ULM and Ga So were both on the ropes. USM has improved since early in the season.
Air Force and Colorado St. will just be better that USA and Idaho.

Toledo v App is the hardest to call. Toledo is big, tough, and has good skill positions. After seeing them the last 3 years, I just think they have more depth and better players than APP. APP is still transistioning and doesn't quite have the experience and depth of Toledo. I really hope App wins and I expect this to be a great game.

Basically it's going to be 2 good defenses going against 2 poor offenses.

Which scares the bejeezus out of me. Our offense really struggles against average D's. I don't have a good feeling about this game.
