Tip of the hat to LaTech
Your team genuinely scared the piss out of me all year. Lost once, nearly did again. While i'm happy we won, i've got major respect for your program. You guys have an awesome team. Lots of talent, and reloaded like we did. Really hope we play you guys each year. Congrats on a great season and good luck in your bowl game.

+1. There was more than once in this game that I was absolutely convinced we would lose. The two best teams in CUSA were absolutely on the field today.

Happy hunting in your bowl game.

RE: Tip of the hat to LaTech
Thank you. But we really just had a good passing offense this year. We have to get better on defense and Special Teams, and find a running game to become a truly good team. We have athletes at key spots, but still not a complete football team...like WKU.

RE: Tip of the hat to LaTech
Just got home from freezing my dick off for 4 hours. My weather app said we were in the high 40's but it sure as hell didn't feel like it on the top, old side.

Classic championship game. I knew all the La Tech fans downplaying any chances were wrong. It's always a ballgame when we play each other excepting the first game. There were reasons other than football that played into that one.

I was very impressed with what Tech did with their kickoffs to keep the runbacks to a minimum. Good scouting by Tech and a decent solution. Their ability to come up big in 3rd and long was impressive as well.

What's really surprised me is how well Holtz has done in our 3 years in the league with 3 different quarterbacks.

I felt we could win this championship but had a feeling it would be close and it was for the most part. And it was.

I followed Tech every week after we played and they just continued to pound folks. I didn't look forward to facing that offense again. They didn't really kill us with bombs as much as short passes and let Henderson do work and he did.

I felt Tech and Western were a bit better than the rest of the league this year. Who knows what will happen next year especially since we have no idea who will be coaching us.

I know I've enjoyed these last two years as much as any team we've ever had at Western. And we've had some good ones. But these two were a blast to watch.

Tip of the cap to La Tech just like the original poster. Great year and I still enjoy you beating the dogcrap out of Arky State last year. Do it again to whoever you Bowl against.

Thanks. good luck in your bowl game! Hopefully we can find a defense and a punter in the offseason. I feel like our offense is going to be good for a few more years at least.

Because nobody noticed?

Lol. I was wearing fleece lined work pants and multiple layers up top. Dick was kept inside of fleece lined work pants yet still froze.

My bones are still cold right now. My body meat has warmed up but the bones are still chilled. My back muscles are still locked up. I have sat myself next to a ceramic space heater and eaten 2 bowls of pinto beans slammed with ham pieces that I fixed up in a crock pot before the game today. Good times.

I Agree. Beed has a small *****. Lol. J/K. I was scared the whole game and Tech was clearly the 2nd best team and played as such. Congrats on a great season Tech. P.S. It felt like 24 and not the 44 deg that it was. It was supposed to be 50 and sunny. Lol. Right!!

RE: Tip of the hat to LaTech
I also respect the hell out of Tech...not just as a football team but as a program. It's easy to talk smack as fans when your teams are going against one another. But at some point you have to sit back and take a look at what your rival (after 3 seasons ..might be the last of that in season I consider Tech as a rival) has done and give them the respect they deserve. Win or lose today I would have felt the same way.

As a sports program there's probably not one in CUSA that does as much as Tech with their resources and small town USA city. And being small town USA is not a knock...Ruston seems like a great city to live in as least on my short 3 visits there. As I said earlier after game one I thought Tech had what it took to win the west. And I also watched scores during the season and thought the Tech defense was improving just as Western's was. Losing two starters before this game had to hurt a defense that was not deep to start with.

I fully expect Tech to be in the hurt next year for a western division title...doesn't matter who they have coming back. They will fine a way to compete game in game out.

Beed the restrooms are heated..at least lower deck they are. And hand dryers that work as good dick warmers. It felt colder than it was at Marshall last Saturday night. And it was suppose to be about 7 degrees warmer

Your girlfriends work as dick warmers in the men's restrooms?

At least they're bringing home a check no?

If Western ever plays at S. Miss I will make sure to look for your girlfriend. Which restroom does she work?
