2013 we had 7 eligible but not enough Bowls for placement

South Alabama reminds me of JMU the year they beat Virginia Tech, who eventually went on to win the ACC title the same season. JMU missed the FCS playoffs because they couldn't get it together in their own league.

At least South did squeeze together the six wins, though. Good luck in the bowl game!
