Spillane
Started this magical season and finished it. Very fitting.

I think our defense is going to be great next year btw.

RE: Spillane
When is the last time a MAC team had a truly great D? Many great players, but not a lot of great team D.

RE: Spillane
Someone last night was sitting next to his family at Ford Field and posted a photo of them on the WMU FB page from right after he got that final INT.

Pretty special moment.

RE: Spillane
Spillane has blossomed into an amazing player, and he's only a junior! Very tough, very smart player. I'm glad he's a Bronco.

Ohio has a Truly Great Run D. Their Pass D is par & sub-par on some fronts, so their overall D is just truly Good, but not Great.

2006 WMU had a Great D. If this year's WMU team had that D -- we could stack up against the B1G powers, IMO.

But yes, 2000 had a very good D too.

We did stack up well against the B1G powers. 2-0

RE: Spillane
Well, to be fair, NW & Illinois weren't B1G powers. I was thinking more like Wisconsin & PSU. :)
