What a season! That was by far the most upset and nervous drive I had to witness all year! Glad it worked out and we're MAC Champs! Let's get to the Cotton Bowl!

It is funny but all the pain that is suppressed from the days of blowing the big one started surfacing..had to turn the volume down and just pace and watch...but on that interception..wow..

The interception happened right in front of the section where I was sitting and it was one of the best moments of Bronco football I can ever remember. Absolutely ballistic crowd.

Lucky you!! Could not make the game with a prior commitment, and wondered how loud it was..the announcers, who I thought were ok for the game, came through on that call and let the crowd take over...

FYI: Those were Big 10 refs.

I was very fortunate to be able to be there. I felt like the crowd kind of waited to get involved, but did when it mattered when Ohio was throwing haymakers at us all second half.

Our run defense was outstanding, Hampton was perfect, made enough big plays passing to win over a game but out-manned Ohio U. team.

Tremendous season-accomplishments - winning MACC, running the table (including beating TWO Big Ten teams), being ranked in Top 20, likely to go to a MAJOR bowl game.

Congrats to players, staff, and to us loyal fans - especially the long-time ones!

Agree, but that may have been their worsegame of the year for WMU. $#%% happens when coaches are up for other jobs. See Houston, NIU 2010. It puts an unease thru the troops. Happens in all aspects of life BTW. In business and politics, just the change in President the markets were ahhh , then the election was over and it was let's move on.

This puts WMU in a perfect spot for Coton Bowl to relax and free wheel it. Good Luck!

I'm so happy for this team! My office is full of bronco stuff and for years had to listen to who's that, why don't you look a big school and on and on and on. I always pledged my alegience to wmu and no one else and finally we all as fans are redeamed. This has been an amazing year and one no will ever forget! Love wmu, love Kalamazoo and I'm just so proud to be a bronco!! Thank you PJ and Kathy and Dunn and all the sponsors. What a freaking great day to be a bronco! Just hoping now we go to the cotton bowl, this team this community deserve it! I don't live I kzoo any more but it will always be home.

Same here! Except my pain has never been suppressed! I was like "Yup, that's game. We're going to lose. Sorry Butch, FGs don't win champion--- OMG!!!!!! We won!"

I had to stop watching all together because my heart can't take choking the big games away anymore and I need to get to Hopkinsville, KY.

What a game, and what a season! That last interception from Spillane...I've never seen a stadium of Bronco fans erupt like that. Wow. What an amazing experience.

There were some questionable penalties in this game though. That's all I have to say about that.

Even stranger was the extremely conservative play-calling on offense for the Broncos. Run between the tackles on every 1st and 2nd down? We're up against the best front 7 in the MAC and they can see our run coming a mile away. Why not challenge the secondary with COREY FREAKIN' DAVIS??

Our front 7 played lights-out last night. What an effort! But the secondary, especially Ginwright replacing Ferguson...the kid looked lost out there.

Special teams play was amazing. Hampton is going to be an all-MAC kicker. ST was good in all aspects.


Watching WMU win the MACC at Ford Field last night was surreal. It was a long time coming! And what a crowd! 45k+...blows the old MACC attendance record away. And they were loud when they needed to be! Thank you, Bronco nation! LET'S KEEP ROWING!!!

Time to transplant Bronco Nation to Texas! Give us a good opponent and Bronco Nation will show up.

I think in the 2nd half Terrell was a little shell-shocked by the INTs (or fear that he was to some degree)... and we wanted to get plays in to shake that off + to loosen up the running game + let the clock wind down. And Ohio was probably playing risky Pass D to try and get INTs, too. But I agree, too conservative. Didn't help our resume letting Ohio crawl back in it.

Having that huge pro wmu crowd had to help our case with the committee as it's as much about butts in seats as anything. With that navy loss we are definitely going cotton! -RTB!! I feel elite!!
