I hope WMU doesn't get shafted. 13-0 is 13-0. If it was so damn easy, they wouldn't be the only undefeated team out there besides Bama. This should be a non-issue. Hope Temple upsets Navy tomorrow.

I agree. I think WMU has earned the access bowl, but the committee isn't without bias. I hope WKU gets the nod.

Me too it would be great for CUSA. Jk I know what you meant.

Nothing is confirmed yet, a 5-7 CUSA vs a conference champ.

More like a swift kick in the nutz.

Nothing against the school or the conference. But that record. 03-puke

I hope our athletic department can dodge us out of that one, and land us in one of our regular MAC affiliated bowls.

I really don't like this scenario either. If 5-7 teams are needed to keep bowl games operating then fine, but put them in a different bowl than the best one in our conference. The HoD bowl should offer LT or WKU and then if WMU has to settle for that, it is better than facing a 5-7 team. That is no reward at all for an undefeated season. WMU should be in the Cotton Bowl but that stupid committee may screw them.

Agree with this, but would change "committee" to ESPN. Their control of college sports, is now out of control. They now have every bowl game but a few. WMU playing our 5-7 team will look bad for CUSA and total disrespect to WMU. Nothing positive could come from that.

Relax. The committee isn't going to screw WMU. They won last night and will be placed in the Cotton Bowl. The committee doesn't want to wait until after Navy and Army play next week anyway. They only really care about their Playoff. The New Year's Day BCS games are not their focus.

WMU- Cotton Bowl
Navy- Armed Forces Bowl

I really think it's an embarrassment that there's a 13-0 FBS team that's not even in the playoff discussion.

Temple 27
Navy 10

Under 4 to go in the game. Navy will lose, and should go to the Armed Forces Bowl. WMU will go to the Cotton Bowl.

No kidding. They should go for an awesome 6-6 team like Southern Miss that prolly smoked UNT. That would be way better.

That is just a projection like all the others that have been made. The article I placed in my initial post sites ESPN, who owns the bowl stating how teams would be placed. The one constant in the report was North Texas in the HOD. I'm looking forward to possibly facing Army again.

If Navy went to the Cotton Bowl, we would have had to play Baylor.

That would be interesting but not wanted.
