Football scoop and other Texas Media members have reported that Blake Anderson has now become a potential target for both Baylor and Houston

Anderson is from Texas (with family currently in the Lone Star State) and played at Baylor in his collegiate days.

While no immediate connection to the Coogs, Houston certainly has the money and would also put him closer to family and most importantly both he and Neal Brown are reportedly going to be speaking with UH in the next couple of days (per footballscoop)

Guess Baylor and Houston didn't get SI's talent report.

Brown has already been contacted by Houston.

Also talked with Cincinnati I was told from a source

Good. Anderson can get out and Arkansas State can be better off for it.

If I were Houston there would be two SBC coaches on my list higher than Anderson. And I like Anderson.

Texas Tech probably as he was their OC for a few years.

But they have since made public Kingsbury will return for 2017

Kentucky somewhat but they finished 7-5 and first bowl since 2010 so Stoops is safe.

How is Satterfield not popping up on lists. I think he's the best coach in the conference. Yall just off his cell service this time of year and blame it on the mountains?

Anderson- you got to be kidding me Houston or Baylor would even talk to him, best thing that could happen to Ark St if he somehow landed one of those jobs
Brown- unlike Anderson, he is a legitimate big time coach, just wish he would stay at Troy for atleast a couple more years to really lay the foundation for the next coach.
Satterfield- hey, what can we say, he loves App, and he is happy to be in Boone, but we know its only a matter of time before he takes over a P5 program, maybe this year, who knows.

I think all three might need one more good year but it will be officially crazy if at least two of the three dont get picked up next year. If App beat UT and Troy pulled off the Clemson upset both coaches would have fan bases of P5's way more interested.

honestly, SS probably needs another year, we had the time out issues at the end of the Tenn and Troy game, and Richt, the Miami coach, put on a clinic on how to coach a big game, Satterfield and the staff were a step behind the whole day, but I think when he is ready, he is going to be a hell of a coach at the next level.

There's no chance Satterfield is line for a high profile P5 job yet. I could see him someday getting a middling P5 gig. He's never even coached at that level.
