Uh, I'm no ornithologist, but that's no pelican. The facility does look nice though they left off part of the school's name.

I figured an egret or heron. I think the original photo was from Lake Martin near Lafayette and that is a major rookery for egrets and herons.

I'm a dcik for pointing out it's not a pelican? You'd think a guy named Jay Bird would know better. 03-lmfao

It took a lot of staring at the pic to make out a "swamp." Decent idea, pretty bad execution.

For whatever reason the floor looks much better in person and easier to do the swamp...I've seen several pictures and none look like it does in person.

The swamp is clearly a swamp, the white crap as it is called is the confusion. Happens all the time in photo people focused on the background instead of the objects. Focus on the browner parts and less on the light beige and it just screams swamp. Also it comes out a lot better on a full sized TV and the big screens in the arena.

The Sun Belt has some very nice basketball arenas compared to other G5 conferences. ULL, App State, Troy, UTA, Little Rock, Arkansas State, and USA have some great arenas.

I found that Troy had a real nice state of the art facility open, what was it again in 1015?

I've stared at the pic for some time now and all I see is an image of Scott Farmer.

Boy, I'll tell you this, that Thomas Center in RustON was very ordinary when originally opened. Do you know if there has been any real enhancements to it, or is mid 1950's technology still the choice of LTECHU.
