Sounds like they may be hiding behind that injury excuse again. I wonder if the talented players who didn't play much this year were all injured? Seems to be the reason for not playing Huff and others, too.

We rode the injury excuse in 2015 and now in 2016. Assuming the injuries are real, is this major bad luck or is there an issue with conditioning?

NO....LIKE I'VE BEEN SAYING THIS GROUP OF COACHES HAVE BEEN HORRIBLE SINCE DAY 1, ROD CARET RODE DOREN'S COAT TAILS FOR 4 YRS. THIS BUNCH HAD THE TALENT TO WIN THE MAC AGAIN. RON CAREY'S PREJUICE COACHING DECISION MAKING COST THOSE SENIORS, PLAYES AND THE GREAT FAN OF NIU HONOR AND DIGNITY! FOR THAT VERY REASON HIS CONTRACT SHOULD NOT BE HONORED BECAUSE HE FAIL TO DEVELOP THESE YOUNG MEN!!!

When teams and morale are bad, injuries follow. Bad teams lead to a) lack of confidence and tentativeness that lead to injury and b) less motivation to return from an injury.
