The two year purgatory is....
OVER!!!!!!!! We finally get to have a normal off season with recruiting and a normal spring training!!!!!!

It's been more like hell. However, purgatory implies something that isn't permanent and thankfully this wasn't permanent, so purgatory is probably the appropriate term. It has still felt like hell.

Both terms remind us that, like the FRW movement, UAB has almost no control of its destiny through local initiative. This is Alabama after all, where local control of any important kind is forbidden by the state's Constitution of 1901. (The ONLY ones who could FRW are the same ones who would name his replacement)
