VANDALS...where did all that Kibbie Dome atmosphere come from? On tv it sounded like it was rocking...and the visitor side only looked 20% full. That place could explode at full capacity.

If done right, painting those end zone walls and ceiling would look really great and give the Kibbie Dome more of the feel of an outdoor venue. Has that ever been discussed?

As a stAte fan I don't pay much attention to pre season games..... oh and league records we are tied.

Nice game. I said going in that this was a pick 'em at best and that's the way it played out. USA has a lot of very good players.

The Kibbie Dome is LOUD when it's full. It was loud today less than half full with practically no students in town. There are several relatively easy things we could do to bring capacity up to a respectable level and then there would be zero cause for complaint about the venue.

Actually the walls were upgraded in the last decade -- there are great big windows up top that let in a ton of natural light when the sun is shining. It doesn't feel nearly as much like playing football in an airplane hangar as it used to.

We could not get our defense off the field, when we had a chance we would commit a penalty on third down and give Idaho a free first down. Story of our life, literally, as long as we have had football, we have been penalized on defense on third down. This is a coaching issue, and it doesn't seem to ever get better.

We still have our opportunity next week, but must beat NMSU at home. I'm hopeful but not confident.

Good game Idaho, your offense was better then ours, you guys have played tough all season while facing adversity with the future of the program. Now go win that bowl game.

Just a sad game overall. I hope Idaho gets an invite soon to stay in FBS. If they was just in Arkansas or Kentucky or Tennessee SBC would keep them. FBS independence is possible just ask UMASS. They might have to take 4 money games a year but it would be worth it IMO.

I'm as frustrated as anyone, but I don't think Nick Saben would have won many more games with what we have left to work with. I'm actually impressed Joey has kept us in so many games after losing so many critical players this year, including our QB for a big part of the year. Next year, however, is put up or shut up. If we win less than 7 games next year, his seat will be on fire.

It wouldn't be 4 money games. Independence means we'd miss out on CFP money, which is about $1 million. That's 1 extra money game. Right now we usually play 1, occasionally 2. So 2-3, to fit into a schedule with no conference opponents. Extremely doable.
