I asked JJ at a function after Wes was promoted whether the transition could be made from friend to head coach/disciplinarian. JJ said Wes could be "tough". I don't see it.

We absolutely were unable to stop them from driving. I would have thought we had a quickness advantage, but it didn't show last night. And, part of that may be the result of the new rules enforcement; that probably is what the Fathers of the Game in the NCAA want. The "personal cylinder" rule definitely plays into the hands of the dribble/drive teams.

Look at these stats from the field:
Jackson 4 of 16
Johnson 4 of 13
Hill (usually reliable) 3 of 10
Osse 2 of 6
Black 0 of 2
Jones 0 of 2

Not going to win many games shooting like that, especially when defense is evidently optional.
