I know they won the NIT last year, what kind of team do they have this year? Is this a winnable game ?

RE: GEORGE WASHINGTON
They looked decent against a Georgia team that's picked 3rd in the SEC. I think this game will be a good litmus test for us.

RE: GEORGE WASHINGTON
Looks like they have two guys that do most of their scoring

Tyler Cavanaugh 6'9" 243 averaging 18.8 points. 42% from the field, 36% from 3, 82% at the line

Yuta Watanabe 6'9" 196 (plays guard) averaging 12.3 points. 43% from the field, 26% from 3, 70% at the line

Then they have 3 guys averaging 7 ppg.

Yuta Watanabe is a hell of a player. Wish we had him. Stop this guy. Thought he got screwed on a couple of calls. Almost felt like they wanted UGA in the finals. Didn't like the officiating in that game.

Maybe we need to start recruiting Japan?

GW is good. If they had played UGA at home I think they win by 6-10. Best GW team I have seen since they knocked us out of the NCAAs with that big monster they had Yinka Dare (sp?)

Wasn't Yuta Watanabe the real name of Tojo Yamamoto?

Agree that this game will be a good measuring stick for this team. It GW was in CUSA they would likely be one of the top teams in the league.

George Washington would run through CUSA like melted butter.

Well if we beat them I guess we should expect to do the same. I agree they would run through MOST of CUSA with little problem but I'm not yet sure how good ODU, Marshall, and MTSU is. Jury is perhaps still out on Rice and WKU as well. The rest of the league is its typical dumpster fire.

Pretty much any A-10 team would run through CUSA. Actually, why just limit it to the A-10? Pretty much any team in general would run through this conference.

RE: GEORGE WASHINGTON
George Washington is a team we should be playing H&H with (take your pick of 9 or 10 other A-10 programs for H&H also)

Last time we swept GW and we were not as good as we are now. I bet the phone call to them did not go well.

You're probably right...if we win tonight we'll be 3-1 all time vs George Washington
