We actually are very capable of blowing it with a lot on the line. We did so, repeatedly last year, and missed a bowl game as a result.

I don't know how good we are at home. Yeah, we blew out NMSU but we got smoked by Troy and barely beat a not-so-great FCS team. Meanwhile, take out our two PAC 12 games and we're 4-1 on the road this year.

Plus, we're going to have a very weak crowd. We were already playing to a half-empty dome this season and now it's Thanksgiving weekend, which is always a tough draw for us. The FCS announcement took away a ton of enthusiasm even in the face of a good season. It's a crying shame.

No one draws well on Thanksgiving weekend..Unless its the Iron Bowl.

Yeah and they won't let the rest of us play in that.

Everyone is hoping for a Cajun upset myself included but like I said when A-State was 0-4 with a terrible out of conference loss I said never count them out in conference and I predicted they would go 8-0 in conference and I stand by that but because I'm a Cajun fan LA17-14 over A-State a guy can dream can't he. realistic A-State by 17 or more.

I'm surprised nobody has sued the NCAA and the Iron Bowl for locking out every team in America with the only exceptions being Bama and Auburn.
