We offer FL LB/FB Joe Sparacio:

We maybe looking at a JUCO TE dec 2016 grad, haven't seen a confirmed offer yet.
Any more Juco OT rumors.....offers?
See 2017 recruiting thread we got a verbal. Think we may be looking at te now
Congrats to him, and hopefully he turns into an eventual starter. But an undersized (6'1 -6'2) Guard/Center isn't quite what I was thinking for immediate OT help.

Well they may be moving players around, by the way the guard center runs the 40 in at 5.1 and I believe will have 3 years to play, also offered by S Miss. Maybe the staff is fine with the current players. CC told me on signing day they were looking to sign a couple. D Ramsey would be one and I think a JUCO TE would fill the "remaining" spot.

Like I said, I hope Ramsey turns out to be a great starter, be they are certainly not going to move a 6'1 guy outside to play tackle.
One thing I can tell you for sure, if the staff is fine with the current OL, they also plan on making scheme changes from last year. If not, Roback will get killed trying to sit back in the pocket trying to take deep shots.
Not judging at this point until we see what Keen brings to the field. More roll outs, screens, quick passes, RPO's might not be a bad thing.

Good points.
Deep shots are great because they can get a ton of yards in one flick of the wrist, but as E'Tough is saying, that is a luxury (great pass protection) we normally don't have.
We may not have it in 2017. Didn't have it in 2015.
We may need to significantly change the offense to adapt to a new OL which won't pass block as well as last year.
I'm curious how good are our TEs as pass blockers???

We have 1, and he's a very experienced redshirt Senior, so hopefully he can stay healthy. If he goes down we'll have to go 4 and 5 wide, or more multi RB sets.
Should be very interesting to see what Keen comes up with this year.

If he goes down, heaven help us.
A major reason for having a TE is to have someone who can block like a "poor man's offensive tackle" (in addition to catch some passes).
So with inexperienced OTs and possibly without a blocking TE, those are big, big issues for the offense.

Or just spread it out, and more quick passes. Luckily we've got an experienced and talented QB who should be able to adapt. I think Keen will bring more creativity and flexiibility in this area as well.
Adapt to your personnel. No excuses. Plenty of returning talent.
