Well, in 2012 Ellis gave up on the season during the 1st game Hopson waited to the 10th. Howard will take another full year to develop any skills. We will lose 7-8 games next year

I want Jay Hopson fired. But I can tell you that it was the right decision. There's no argument. None. Taking the safety improved the field position by proabably about 30 yards and didn't change what we would need to win the game.

you failed to say that he "must" be thinking that it would be a guaranteed FG had he punted, making it a 7 point game, rather than a 6 point game with a safety. guess you didnt think of that. otherwise.....

Just re-read your preceding post in this thread, then smile & nod.

Being down 6 with them with the ball on their 30 is better than being down 4 with them with the ball around your 40. How can you not see that ?

RE: UNT thread
It wasn't about being down 6 or 7. It was about flipping the field. In both scenarios, we would have to have a TD anyway. So why would you not want 30 yards in your favor ?

Outsider looking in, I was at the game cannot beleive So Miss played like that. That is a veteran ball club that won a CHAMPIONSHIP last year those are not wet behind the ears freshmen, but Veterans. They KNOW how to win, but did not play like it. Shocking. As to Old D, Charlotte and UNT. ..damn . That's tough to do with that talent.

actually, we lost to WKU last year in the championship game, but yeah.....it was the fear of many when we hired this crew of swac-tic-tac-do-dos

we have been in a state of disarray since Monken left.....thanks for posting and supporting what is now a sinking ship once again.....

after the hiring, I stated they could only **** it up.....they've done a fine job in that regard....

No, but I saw Ricky Lloyd's debut and I've got deja vu right now.
