Fantastic beasts. I seriously thought this is the night we are going to win them all but Charlotte decided to jinx it.

It seems like the league has picked up some decent wins so far, but also some absolute killers like UAB losing to Furman, Charlotte losing to USC Upstate, and Rice losing to Texas Southern. That is the stuff we have to clean up if we're going to get 2 teams in the tournament.

I'm encouraged about WKU, UAB, ODU, and others continued ability to recruit well in spite of the conference. Better recruiting and investing in our programs is how we can turn this around.

Rice beats perennial powerhouse Delaware State by ~20.

Saw it tonight. Kind of reminded me of the conference. Can we rebrand as Fantastic Beasts Conference?

Our one loss isn't looking bad at all... TSU crushed Canisius this evening to become 5-0. Their next real test is when they play at Vandy. TSU's RPI is currently 9th. We are at 52nd...

Very scrappy game. A lot of defense and turnovers in both sides. Pitino's pacemaker working overtime yelling at his team in the locker room. Hopefully the Monarchs can keep it up in 2nd half.
