10 MLS teams average over 20,000 per game; 14 teams out of 20 average over 19,000 per game. So it seems curious that the prospective St. Louis owners would start at only about 20,000 seats. On the other hand, that's also the initial capacity in the Sacramento MLS proposal. So maybe the MLS thinking is to hopefully create demand that exceeds capacity, and then expand the capacity after that.
