I Hope Everyone is Ready

I gave a **** two months ago.

The last 6 wins have eased my pain. The next two will ease it more, and then a nice showing and possible win in New Orleans will have me all ready for next season.

It's different when you lose a game like that and let it break your season. Good teams can remove their heads from their asses and finish the season. We might be good enough to finish it with 9 straight wins.

I suppose we could have called off the season in October and moved on to basketball season. But we don't quit.

I'm more amazed by these idiots that think we should just lay down for the rest of the year. How dare we try to move past a loss, and not dwell upon it the rest of the year?!?! Are we that inconsiderate of other people's' feelings?!?!
I guess we're not liberal enough to understand how we should put our own goals aside, for the best of the others. I guess we're too selfish.....and only looking out for ourselves.

Your program losing all OOC games including one vs. a instate FCS, and then running the table in conference is a huge black eye to the SBC. I think everyone is just ashamed at this point, your fanbase's attitude is only salt in the wound.

How did you guys move on from Liberty?
Not only that, y'all had the gall to win every conference game after that loss!
I'm so confused,...

Very true, I do remember us beating Ark St very easily in Jonesboro that year. We were a FCS transitional that year so us spanking you in Jonesboro was the worst loss of the two IMO.

After UCA beat your heads in, you guys should have laid down the rest of the year.

I mean why not, most of your fan base did right then and there it's all over these boards.

It looks like our fans were supposed to ignore the 1st 4 games and act like nothing was wrong....while our team was supposed to lay down and quit to avoid upsetting your season.

You guys sure have some funny ideas.

I'm just frustrated App can't settle things with A State on the field this year. I would agree that the other schools who lost to them don't have much of a leg to stand on. Granted, I think an 11-1 Troy or 10-2 App State (going into bowl season) would have been a great representation of the best of the conference, but A State has done their job.

You're not alone. I'd rather see it settled on the field than listen to all these girls fussing over what color toe nail polish is the prettiest. Damn, folks, hush. Let's play football and may the best team win. And when you get your ass beat, say so. Neal Brown did in is post game presser. I wish our coaches would learn how to do that. Mad respect for him after that.

Rate things are going, we're looking at possibly meeting twice per year starting in 2018.

There isn't a stAte fan out here ok with the UCA loss. I doubt y'all where ok with the Liberty loss. I am proud of how the team and coaching staff worked to get better. No matter what happens Saturday I am still proud of these guys if it's nothing more than than getting the whiney (second place) App and GS fans up in arms.

You'll notice the only ones ashamed are App and GS fans. And I'm convinced that GS attitude has more to do with how their game ended against us than anything, which is fair.

I haven't really noticed fans of any other program on this board on any subject really. They are like Ark St fans in September, MIA.

Or, like App fans in Kidd Brewer, by the start of the 4th quarter in an stAte/App game, MIA.
