Indeed, difference is that UCA Basketball is so dang horrible, there's no way we'll actually play them tomorrow. We will however play them at UCA in 3 weeks.

In true anti John Brady fashion, McCasland apologized for the poor effort down the stretch today. Said he did a terrible job coaching this team and that he will have to learn to get better.

AState will play UT Chatanooga tomorrow for the tournament title. The Mocs are good, went to the NCAA Tournament last year and have 5 senior starters. Will be a nice test for a very young team.

AState leads 51-31 at the first media timeout of the 2nd half.

AState leads 57-36 with 10 minutes left, but half the team is in foul trouble because that happens to us every game.

We're giving up another big run late in the game. Chatanooga has cut it to 10 and there are still over 7 minutes left.

AState defeats UT Chatanooga 73-67 in a game that was not that close. They hit 3 Three's in the last minute to keep the score respectable.

We win the Maui Invitational Mainland Championship. Will head to home to host SIU-Edwardsville on Tuesday. Win that and we will win 5 games in 8 days.

Chatanooga won 29 games last year and finished Top 50 RPI. They returned basically their entire team and had already beaten Tennessee this year. That is a very good win.

Nice win and nice tournament victory. We won the Outrigger Resorts Rainbow Classic last week in Honolulu. Couldn't tell you the last time we've won a preseason tourney.
