Also, rice is gonna be tough to beat in a couple years if Rhoades sticks around.

I was at the game. It was close midway through the second half, but JMU quit defending and Rice lit them up. Our boy Ramone Snowden has 8 turnovers.

According to several people on this board ODU really missed on Snowden. Not that I would expect the leader of that pack to ever admit it.

Eh. JMU was playing 2nd game in 48 hours and ran out of gas in second half.

Not sure comparing games really tells us a lot.

Rice's guards are all quick, athletic, and can shoot. They will be a challenge, but I expect that we will get things together by then.

He played 33 minutes. Shot 50% from the free throw line (4-8).

Here are stats for other players who played "limited minutes":
-#14 McLean 20 points, 3 rebounds, 2 assists & 2 to. Shot 11-12 from the line and 4-7 from the field

- #1 brown 10 points, 4 rebounds, 1 assist, and 2 TOs. Shot 4-10 from the line.

Man I miss Richard Ross. If there ever was an embodiment of the spirit of ODU basketball, it was Richard Ross. Richard Ross was something special for us, and I am sure that his grit and determination will take him far in life.

Man, comparing Snowden to Ross at this stage in his career seems crazy.

JMU is not good, regardless of how much experience they have.

They have pretty much the exact same build, same height, same weight, Ross was a much better athlete but Snowden is a more talented offensive player.

Ross was a better defender and rebounder but the comparison wasn't about skill set, it was about who he reminded me of.

So they're the same size, but according to your own comparison nothing else about them is the same. I think we can all agree with that.

Snowden didn't impress me.
