RE: Week 12 Pick'em
First 2 CMU possessions were 3 and outs.
First 2 OU possessions were fumbles.

CMU strikes first with a FG on their third drive.

RE: Week 12 Pick'em
CMU scores a TD with less than six minutes to go. Fire up Chips, a win by them keeps an East title alive for Miami.

Well damn.... CMU wins the game and becomes bowl eligible.

And I've now become a Ball State Cardinal fan.

RE: Week 12 Pick'em
Underline means beat the spread, bold means win the game. Yes, belated, but this was what I was thinking before, just belated posting:

Kent St. -2.5 @ BGSU
*Kent State's D will stand tall to BGSU's O and keep them at bay. BGSU has seemed to improve as the year's gone on, but Kent stood up well against WMU. Problem is, is Kent State's D taken a hit due to the kidnapper? Has BGSU found out all that Kent St can do on O with the twin-of-kidnapper behind center? BGSU could win this, no doubt, but I'm going with Kent to win by a FG in a close contest.

Ohio @ CMU -1.5
*CMU's played poorly lately. Ohio has a good running game, and CMU has a great QB but their offensive line has been sucking. I say Ohio keeps CMU at bay and sacks Pooper Rush enough to win by 7-10pts.

Ball St @ Toledo - 20.5
*I think Toledo's expected to win by too much. They did lose to Ohio at home this year, so they are capable of misfiring here and there. BSU isn't great and are still figuring themselves out. They have a great running game, and I think they'll move well on Toledo who's D isn't exactly spectacular. However, BSU at QB spot won't be so on, so Toledo will win comfortably by 17.

Buffalo @ #14 WMU -35
*WAY too high of a point spread. Wind gusts up to 40mph, and windy during the whole day, with rain on and off, with a little snow showers likely. Basically, the weather's going to keep it from having full blowout potential. Did you see the WMU @ Kent game? Weather keep it closer. Sure, Buffalo sucks. And yes, WMU is going to be pumped to make sure they get Buffalo butt-good due to the CFP ranking. However, WMU may get a little hasty with all the GameDay hype and poor weather, lose the ball a bit, and have to "hang on" to only win by 24pts in the end, when much of the game only up by two possessions.

Well, I guess this means both UT and WMU are gonna lose.

but since he forgot about Eastern/Northern, I guess that game will end in a tie?

RE: Week 12 Pick'em
This is like the old joke about the two guys watching a game and the first guy says "I bet you $100 that the Cowboys win". The second guy says "I'll take that bet". The cowboys go on to win the game and the second guy says "Damn, well here's your $100". The first guy says "I can't take your money, this was the replay of the game and I've already watched it." Second guy says "No you take it, I saw the game too but I didn't think there was any way they'd lose a second time".

There is no chance WMU loses to UB.

Gusty with chilly showers Saturday, maybe a few flakes thrown in by the 4th quarter, might inhibit the score from getting too out of hand. Too bad the game wasn't one day earlier... Sunny and 70 in mid November. 04-jawdrop

For once, the fans sitting in the stands may have preferred a Mid-week game. But having Gameday there, even in lousy weather is way better than anything else. UB may have to roll out the 5th year senior backup QB...(who may be better than the starter, we don't know). Still should be a 30+ pt margin of victory.
