Now that EMU has played two games ... Raven Lee ??? ... we'll adjust that.

1. Ball St. -- W on the road
2. Toledo -- Big road effort
3. EMU -- Looked good and lost - looked bad and lost
4. Ohio -- As expected
5. BG -- Solid on the road
6. Kent -- Freshmen look good
7- NIU -- Home win as expected
8- Buff -- Road win solid
9-11 -- WMU, CMU, Miami

RE: Performance rankings
The NIU game was a toss up game of sorts against a MVC power

They're not a power. They're rated 175 in KenPom. They're ranked as the 6th best MVC team. The closest MAC team they're rated to is BG. Is BG a MAC power?

I know it's early but the MAC (9th) is ranked higher than the MVC (12th) at this point. Per KenPom, Indiana State's win over Ball State is the conferences best victory. Sadly, NIU's win over Indiana State (159)is one of only two victories by the MAC over sub-200 teams by KenPom. Ohio's victory over Sam Houston State (152) is the other.

Ball State (Alabama 71), Ohio (Georgia Tech 98) and NIU (Cal State-Northridge 180) all go on the road this weekend to try to add to that total.
