SU is not very good right now. They have 3 freshmen and 2 graduate transfers on the team right now who have never played the 2-3 zone. Its a work in progress. Im hoping that they are a different team at the end of the season from now.

Most Syracuse fans seemed to be higher on the team than the media. At this point Syracuse is going to have to depend on conference play to even make the NCAA.

Currently they sit at 6-4, with an RPI of 182. They are 0-4 against power conference teams, but even then UConn and Georgetown look like they are only NIT teams. They beat 9-2 Monmouth, but the other 5 wins are against sub .500 small conference opponents. Overall they are 1-4 vs the RPI top 150.

They are likely to enter ACC play at 9-4, but with the "premier" wins being over Monmouth and Eastern Michigan. If the jersey didn't say Syracuse, that's not even an NIT resume. That said, I think they could be dangerous in ACC play.

They better. Most of the ACC is far better than UCONN and G'Town.

Duke beats Elon 72-61. But the main thing to come out of this was yet another Grayson Allen tripping incident. Lots of people calling for his suspension. We shall see if Coach K/Duke do anything.
