I don't understand why we can't host more things. We had the WAC outdoor in 2013 and this years volleyball.

Dallas-Fort Worth...?

State-of-the-art volleyball and basketball arena. Top quality track and softball venue. Decent baseball and soccer (I know we don't have the sport) venue. Many golf and cross country locations nearby.

Out of all the Sun Belt Championships, Cross Country is probably the one we're most qualified to host. We have a fantastic XC course.

I'm kind of surprised that we'll host men's soccer, unless our new facility will be done in time. Maybe so since it is 1 year from now - but seems like short turnaround.

I get that, which is why I don't understand. Between saving on travel costs and some revenue for the event, makes sense to me that if it isn't a break-even deal, then it isn't far behind.

Most sbc championships rotate among all 12 schools. Basketball baseball and softball are bid out

But you don't play football so you don't really count.

Mental note of UTA v Arkansas State in all-sports begins now.

Didn't we just host an outdoor T&F? Maybe it was longer ago than I think, or maybe it was for the WAC. I'll have to check.

Two championships in the state of Alabama and neither are on campus of conference schools... At least Foley is close to South.
