No, there is a difference, but its really hard to define. Queer refers to a type of LGBT person that might be less consistent with binary norms regarding sexual orientation and identity.

It can also be used to describe Gay people, but is only usually only done so by a very liberal activist. The word goes into vogue for a year then goes out for 10.

Either way, no reasonable person is going to get upset with anyone for getting the two confused. Only rule would be...if someone asked to be described that way, no reason not to use that term. Doubtful you'd ever get in that situation.

I wish I had thought of this 4 years ago. I could have gotten a couple days off work out of it.

Many people got 4 years off work because of it.

These kids are broken. Their parents need to be punched in the nose.

This bodes very well for my kids as they go off to college and into the workforce. They'll be able to punch their own ticket because of stupid pukes who don't have the intestinal fortitude to handle regular everyday life nor the intestinal fortitude to plug on in times of adversity. What a bunch of fvcking losers. Triggered, safe spaces, afraid of life... JFC you libs/progs on this board should feel ashamed of the display seen by these progressive kids.

This is what they taught them. They coddled them and made them feel that losing was never an option. Fact is...losing is what we do most. That is what makes winning so sweet.

No doubt it's common today. I'm sure a lot of parents and teachers are not coddling kids. We don't coddle our kids and they are much better off because of it. Most of these losers are probably taking garbage degrees at colleges anyways.

Moving forward, I think any student who wants student loans needs to put together a compelling business case on why they deserve a loan. It doesn't have to be super intricate, but stating a planned course of study that the bank can examine for future demand, salary estimates, etc. would go a long way towards weeding out the losers from the start.
